ITV Ventures™ Leads Program

One of the unusual –and very powerful – aspects of the ITV Ventures™ business opportunity is the system they are incorporating to generate leads for their Independent Business Owners (IBOs).

Normally in network marketing those involved are by necessity required to try to sell to family members, friends, business associates and other people they already know. This is a source of stress for most, as they find it quite uncomfortable to have to approach their warm market on an ongoing basis to try to sell them products they have previously expressed no interest in purchasing.

Well, with ITV Ventures™ this problem seems to have been solved. While one is still free to market to family, friends, etc., ITV Ventures™ takes a new approach.

As you know, ITV has for years operated a very successful, multi-million business broadcasting infomercials nationally. These infomercials are in the format of an interview with the creator of the particular product being promoted.

Interested viewers from across the country are then invited to call a toll-free number to order the product. About 30% of callers do so to order immediately – the remainder are calling to get more information about the product. I’m told the majority of these end up as purchasers, too.

With the upcoming launch later this month of ITV Ventures™, those 70% will become leads for the IBOs. Their contact information will be passed on to an IBO to follow up on and close the sale. It’s a very creative way to provide the IBOs with “hot” leads – leads from people who have not only watched a 30 minute infomercial about the product, but then have taken the time to call in and ask for more information. So IBOs won’t be reliant upon pressuring their family and friends to buy products. Instead they will be able to sell to consumers who are very interested in making a purchase.

And it gets even better.

I’ve heard that starting within a month or two, the calls from interested viewers will be routed – in real time – to the IBOs themselves. So an IBO working from home will be able to receive live calls from viewers – both those who are ready to order immediately and those who want a little more information. And each customer “belongs” to the IBO so he can keep in touch with them and sell them reorders of the product (and market other new products to them as well) for years to come.

I haven’t heard what the cost of these hot leads will be, but I’m confident they will be very reasonably priced. After all, there is a large incentive for ITV to keep its IBOs happy and thereby build its own business.
